The name is derived from Gaelic and means "house of turning point". The cottage lives up to it's name. It is on Cairnbulg Point, but more importantly, a visit here will be a great "turning point" in your life...one that you shant forget. The small fishing village is located 3 miles south of Fraserburgh. This is on the northeast coast, 45 miles north of Aberdeen. Seals can be seen outside the kitchen window in the bay.
The cottage overlooks the North Sea and has all the amenities; 2 bedrooms, bath/shower, kitchen with washer/dryer, microwave, oven, and refrigerator. It also features a TV/VCR, stereo, and telephone.
Cairnbulg has a bakery, grocery store, meat market, post office and library. Bus service to and from the village every hour makes for easy transportation into Fraserburgh (KH location) or Aberdeen (great shopping!) and beyond.
Local sites include;Slain's Castle(ruins) south of Peterhead,Cairnbulg Castle, Kinnaird Lighthouse Museum, sea caves, golfing, scenic coastal villages, such as PennanandGardenstown. A stay at the cottage must include a walk along the sandy coastal shore to Fraserburgh. (Be sure the tide is out!)

"Tigh-Na-Wrath" is rented on a weekly basis of $300.00 to "friends" and includes clean linens, wash cloths and towels. It sleeps four comfortably. Orders for booking can be made by email specifying the dates you would like to stay.
